Abbey joined the 183dental team in January 2019 to provide our patients with Dental Hygiene and Therapy care. 

Abbey has worked in Dentistry since leaving college. Initially Abbey worked as a Dental Surgery Assistant in various local dental practices. She completed qualifications in Dental Nursing and as an oral health educator. She then decided to return to university and gained a place at Liverpool Dental School to complete Dental Therapist training achieving a DISTINCTION in her Diploma.

Abbey has completed further training in facial aesthetics and you can book in to see her for a consultation. 


Abbey had worked previously in Private Dental Practice with both Dave and Emma and they are very excited to be re-united with her again. Abbey's patients love her friendly down to earth approach and she is excellent at explaining everything to patients. 

Away from work Abbey enjoys music and going to watch live bands and artists. She likes travelling, the cinema and socialising with friends - especially visiting restaurants and trying new foods. 

Abbey is in the practice on Mondays and Tuesdays.  

Elisha Haslam

BSc Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy- (Leeds)

Elisha joined our ever expanding team in Autumn 2023 and has been a welcome addition. 

Elisha started working as a dental nurse after leaving high school and she achieved a level 3 diploma in dental nursing, gaining plenty of experience of mixed dental practice. 

She completed a level 3 diploma in Biomedical Science before achieving a place at Leeds Dental School on the Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy course. 

Elisha moved away from home and completed the three year Degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. 

Elisha is currently part of a Dental Therapy Foundation scheme two days a week where she carries out extractions on deciduous (baby) teeth, crowns on deciduous teeth, amalgam, composite restorations, periodontal treatment and examinations. 

She is interested in facial aesthetics and looking to do further training in the future on composite bonding and smile makeovers. 

Aware from teeth she enjoys travelling, live music, cooking and baking. She spends her spare time with family and friends and on walks with her little sausage dog, Martha!

Elisha is in the practice on a Thursday and Friday.
